Be part of the 40th HISTORIC QUEENSLAND race meeting

The HRCC’s 40th Historic Queensland race meeting is coming up over the 1st & 2nd of July at Morgan Park Raceway. It should be a magic weekend of historic motorsport, and will offer a great opportunity to race on the fresh and smooth new Morgan Park surface.

They’re expecting big fields of the lovely older J, K, L and M cars, as well as some exciting Group N and Group S racing. Group U will feature compatible invited cars, which should bring some great machines out to play, and the full field of 5th category historic cars will ensure that there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Historic Racing Car Club of Queensland Launches New Website

New Historic Racing Car Club Queensland Website

Our brothers and sisters up in Queensland, the Historic Racing Car Club of Queensland, have kicked off the year with a very pretty and modern new website.

The Historic Racing Car Club of Queensland has started the new year with a bang by posting a new website to showcase and promote Historic Racing in Queensland and across Australia. The club wanted to create a modern interface to generate more interest in historic motorsport for its members and the public.

By providing more information online about historic motorsport, news and details for the race events scheduled for 2017 it is hoped it will attract interest from people who would like to step into grass roots motorsport.

We hope you’ll support them in their efforts to nurture our wonderful historic racing community. Check out the new website at their usual address: www.hrcc.org.au

Coming Up in Queensland: the HRCC’s Autumn Historic Warwick

Our mates up north, the HRCC, will hold their Autumn Historic Warwick historic race meeting this 30th of April to 1st of May. If you’re in Queensland or up for a road trip, head out and support some wonderful historic motorsport.

The event has become a great one for touring car fans and will feature the awesome Heritage Touring Cars series, as well as Group N historic touring cars, Group U historic sports sedans and TransAms and Pre-92 Touring Car Regularity trials, plus all of our usual sports and racing car classes.

Coming Up in Queensland: Historic Queensland 4th & 5th of July

Historic Queensland 2015

If you’re missing historic motorsport now that Sydney Retro Speedfest has been run and won for the year, the HRCC’s Historic Queensland over the 4th and 5th of July, 2015, could be just what you need!

Promoted as Warm and Friendly Warwick, Historic Queensland is sure to be another excellent entry into Australia’s historic racing scene in 2015. Plus you get to head north for a mid-winter top-up of Queensland’s brilliant weather!

The event promises two full days of action on the track, a stunning collection of sports and racing cars from the ’20s all the way through to 1984 and a whole lot more.
