Loose Fillings #47

Loose Fillings 47

About three times a year Garry Simkin and Terry Wright put out a newsletter called ‘Loose Fillings’, which chronicles the many adventures of historic air-cooled racing cars from the 1950s.

Their first newsletter for 2014 has been out and about for a few weeks, and is now available for download from the website. This edition revisits the pioneers of aircooled racing, tells the story of the remarkable speedway JAP engine and catches up on everything you need to know in the world of historic air-cooled racing cars from the ’50s.

  1. Message for Terry Wright

    Hi Terry

I have some information about one of the two (I believe) Coopers fitted with a Vincent twin engine which may interest you. This was campaigned in Sri Lanka in the 1950s and 1960s with some success. Pls send me an email address and I’ll send you photos. Thanks

    John
